Ewa Albering – flute
Arjen explains: I met Ewa during an Arena concert. They had told me that she was the flutist of the Polish progband Quidam and, given the fact that I am a big flute fan, I talked to her. She already knew my music and beamed with joy when I asked her if she was interested in ever working with me. At some point we were planning to do an acoustic performance with Ambeon in Italy with me on guitar, Astrid on vocals, a cellist and Ewa on flute. We practiced a few times and even recorded some things, but unfortunately the concert never happened. Ewa did play some wonderful flute on some songs during the Star One tour in 2002, and she can be heard on the Star One live CD/DVD ‘Live on Earth’. |
